Scene 1: Lift the load by activating the 4/3 direction control valve.

Scene 2: Llower the load by activating the 4/3 direction control valve: look what happens when the cylinder is going to fast.

Scene 3: The cylinder is activated and while lowering the load, halfway the stroke the 4/3-valve is switched off. From that moment the cylinder is driven by the load; watch the reaction of the counterbalance valve.
